typo in my original post
my httpd.conf is in /home/hoss10/http/httpd.conf (in my home dir)
NOT /home/http/httpd.conf
Anyway, should I bother with this setup!
I intend to try to write some Python scripts
(i know perl a bit but want to broaden my knowledge!)
