I have a rebadged (by TraxData) version of same and it works great
apart from a bug in the firmware which prevents (a) booting from CD or
a SCSI hdd (b) booting (even from IDE) in win9x if there's a SCSI
drive with a partition greater than 8Gb connected to it. Neither
Linux nor NT suffer this problem. (wierd I know - don't ask me why).
FYI: BIOS version is 2.9i - non flashable :( Apart from this, the card
is fine, never had a problem with drivers.
I also have another Advansys card (rebadged by Iwill) which works fine
- does the job, with no driver problems and despite the problem above,
I'd happily but advansys again, even if only not to buy from adaptec :)
