Yeah, I have the same thing. It's because the op-amp for the output
segment is near the PS/2 connector. OR at least that's my understanding
because if I put the master volume down as low as possible, and turn
up WAVE output, it's much less noticeable (I use headphones, so
it's _very_ noticeable).
When you say the speaker buzzes, do you mean you hear it in the main
speaker, or you hear in headphones? I think getting a cheapass reasonable
PCI card is probably your best solution, or get powered external speakers
and disable the internal buzzer (There is a jumper on Intel boards
to do this).
