Hi all,
I'm rebuilding my pc and want to ask advice.
I have 2 hard drives, a CDROM drive and a CD-Writer. Now, I would like to
know what is the best way to connect them up to the two ide slots.
The CD-Writer is new, and is only a 24 speed, which is why I wanna keep the
other one (44 speed). Originally, I had the two HDD as master and slave on
one IDE slot, and the CDROM on the other. Do I just add the CD-Writer as a
slave on the second slot? Or should I have a HDD and a CD drive on each slot
- a website I saw suggested this might be better.
Many thanks,
Mike
