RH6.2 does indeed come with Glibc 2.1.3

Has anyone noticed a significant performance increase by moving to
2.2.17? We're building some servers right now with RH6.2 and if an
upgrade of the kernel can ever be done, it'll be now!

I looked over the changelog for 2.2.17, lots of bug fixes of course, but
RH6.2 has worked well for us in the past..

Donncha.
