FWIW, I'm logged in to 24h right now using the latest Mozilla nightly on my
Celeron 466/64MB RAM laptop. It runs like a dream, as it has done for some
time. I use it for 99pc of my browsing. AIB are usually quite polite when
refusing browsers; "connection refused" sounds like a mozilla bug to me. You
have access to the developers via bugzilla, so why not ask 'em :-)
Kate: the reason to use Mozilla instead of NS4.x is that the 4.x codebase
sucks and had to die. Far as I can see, the Mozilla designers made a lot of
sacrifices in order to make it cross-platform and flexible enough to expand,
and this is going to pay off bigtime over the next couple of years. If 4.x
works better for you right now then sure, use it; but I look forward to the
improvements that we would never have been able to see in the old codebase.
