[ILUG] Linux databases

Have a look at Interbase (www.interbase.com)
It's available for Linux and WinNT and supports transactions, SQL-92, 
JDBC/ODBC and
Perl/PHP.
It's under an open source license as well...
I've been using it for the past month and it seems pretty good...
