And talking of RH print filters - I have a situation where I'm running
Netatalk (and Samba) on a Mandrake 5.3 box, which is using smbprint to
print to an LJ3 attached to a 'doze box. It all works just fine, until one
of the Macs needed to print a landscape page. This doesn't work - it gets
printed on an upright page. Obviously somewhere in the miasma of filters
and Ghostscript something is missing, but I've no idea what. Before I roll
up the sleeves, does this ring a bell with anyone ?

unfortunately not.

However, you don't have to use the scripts. Instead set up a raw
queue - no filter - and let the clients print to it using their
native drivers. Added benefit aswell that then clients like win95 can
use the options to select all their spiffy economodes, etc..
