I'm attempting to "fix" a pc for smeone at the momnet,
It's a Packard Bell (shudder) 486 sx (@25Mhz if you can't remember back
that far)
with a massive total of 4Mb ram & a 200 Mb hdd.
It would have been shipped with Dos 6.2? & win 3.1, but some bright
spark decided to install win95 on this thing & then later _managed_ to
install IE4.
What I'm curious about is how in God's divine splendour (it's novena
time in Galway) did someone get IE4 to install on that system, I'm
assuming that ext ram wasn't added for the purpose, as someone who would
have enugh cop to do that would also have enough cop not to do it!
