[ILUG] lilo problems

[ILUG] lilo problems

Gerard Gorman gormo at itc.nuigalway.ie

Hi, (more problems)

I'm putting rh6.1 on a laptop (armada m700). I have the partition table
and lilo.conf
appended to the mail. The problem I ran into is that when I reboot, the
laptop complains
about Non-system disk or disk error. I have been hopping my head off
this all evening and I ain't getting anywhere. I'd nearly settle for a
boot disk option now but for that vga option I'd have to keep adding on!
All suggestions are welcome!!

Cheers,
g (mighty pissed cos nothing is working and is being presently kicked
out by security guards!)

Disk /dev/hda: 240 heads, 63 sectors, 839 cylinders

and I have lilo.conf as follows:

        table=/dev/hda
