Well done Owen, but this reminds me of something that's been
bugging me for a while.
'Fixing bugs' is probably not a good selling point. People
(except us :-) don't choose OSes with the expectation that
there will be bugs that need to be fixed.
However, 'adding features' is, IMHO, a major selling point of
free software. MegaApp from MegaCorp doesn't do what you
need, or talk to your ObsoleteDB from DodoCorp? Tough!
FreeApp from OpenCorp doesn't do it either? Hack it in
yourself.
To the layman, this sounds more useful and positive, without
any of the negative connotations of the word 'bug'.
This reminds me... I must take the time to submit my
PAM hack to the OpenLDAP people.
