Hi,
My father recently purchased a PC, from someplace I'll not
mention it recently developed a bad sector, which has crapped out Windows
on it, now he rang said place, and they said that a bad sector is no
reason for them to replace the drive, the machine is only two mths old ...
In my mind one bad sector is symptomatic of something worse maybe going
wrong on the drive, and is a reason to replace it, so does anyone know
whether a) a reformat is all I need or b) should I spend the time giving
out a load of crap until they replace it ....
Dave.
