[ILUG] pine: imap folders with spaces

how do you add imap folders with spaces in the folders names in pine?

All my folders are {server}foldername. I want to add some of my Outlook
folders, like "Deleted Items" and "Sent Items", but pine doesn't seem to
like folder names having spaces in them.

I've tried

{server}folder name
{server}"folder name"
{server}'folder name'

without much luck. The first form is what you get if you add it
internally in pine. But it gets mangled when you close/restart pine. The
others are not recognised properly.
