[ILUG] Finding a NIC

AFAIR a 

modprobe ne.o

should do the job in that case, there are a few modules that need to
pre-load for an ne2k that modprobe will find and load...
it *should* be able to figure out the io and irq by itself, although if the
card is set to something outlandish you'll need to specify
