You may want to get a couple of RTF viewers - the rationale being the
RTF spec is apparently vague in places, allowing for different
interpretations, and hence different results.

I remember a collating project docs where .RTF had been specified as
*the* format to use - the only people who submitted consistently
readable stuff were those on Amigas and Acorn Archimedes, with
Macintosh a close third.

Starwriter and Ted should both be good bets for this. I don't know of
any linux rtf reader that isn't also a wordprocessor
