[ILUG] ref : DNS again....

[ILUG] ref : DNS again....

Hi All,

I have eventually managed to get a acceptable-ish dns
configuration using bind. Well Using the DNS part of
netconf redhat 6.1. (Goodbye NT DNS)

I have a quick question with regard to NSLOOKUP-ING
domain.com.

I can nslookup www.domain.com
               ftp.domain.com
               etc,,, etc.
However I cannot nslookup domain.com unless I put an
entry in etc/hosts

          ex: domain.com 192.168.67.1
I need users to connect to their virtual webservers
using domain.com as well as www.domain.com.

Do I need to add a Bind specific entry to the dns.

Sorry about my lack of intelligence on this, I am
currently porting myself from NT to Linux.

Thanks

Mark...
