 We're using UW-IMAP patched to handle maildir format boxes, and it
doesn't seem to have a problem with sub folders (created with "maildirmake
mailboxname". Are you using Netscape as a client ? It seems to mess
subfolders up terribly. Checkout mutt 1.1.1 as a better IMAP client.
