Hello all,
Myself and a friend (Eamon Phelan) have entered (and been accepted) for
the Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition next week. Our project
deals with Artificial Life and in particular we have made an Environment
to demonstrate our Alife creation. Ours is in the Antartic and we have
lots of little penguins eating fish and doing their thing. Our entire
project is linux based using gtk/gnome/mesa and possibly Crystal Space
if we have time/can figure it out.
Basically we want to advocate linux at the Exhibition but unfortunatly
we don't have any propaganda gear i.e. Banner, Tux Teddies etc (large
monitors to show off X :P) any loans/donations would be appreciated.
Anyone who want to come along can do so at the RDS Main Hall and
Shelbourne Hall on the 13th,14th,15th of Jan between 10am and 5pm. We
will release the code if there is interest in it (there shouldn't be). I
will set up a website as soon as we finish it (shhh don't tell anyone
we're not finished) and as soon as I have time.
Thanks
-Emmanuel Stone
