[ILUG] Linux and the 3c5x9 card - strange one

[ILUG] Linux and the 3c5x9 card - strange one

Hi,

I had a similar problem with a 3c509, I had to download a utility from
3-Com which allowed me to set the card into ISA mode. Worked fine after that.

I will see if I still have it lying around, but it is in the latest 3-Com
driver pack for the 5x9 cards.
