[ILUG] Corel Linux from PC Plus + 1024 cyls..

Well I had 4GB at the end of a 16GB drive I had forgotten about so I
decided to slap Corel Linux in there .. (note this is way above 1024 cyls
:-), anyways it installed fine, detected my RH/Suse/WinBlows installs and
put options in its lilo (which with splash screen is newbie nifty...),

Of course it's lilo didn't work as /boot dir was > 1024, but I booted it
from my RH kernel, copied its /boot to /corelboot on my RH partition
re-ran lilo and I got cool start-up screen linux with none of those icky
message about stuff :-), they use a VGA screen of 1x1 to avoid the
messages nice one ...

I wondered then to myself, I must actually try it this evening, if I had
put the boot partition on my Winblows drive would it have worked?.. anyone
ever attempted this....

Dave.
