A Win32 ODBC driver for postgresql
pretty good in fact (forget the URL, I can dig it out if anybody
would like it)

An evil command to run as root
	cd /root; chmod go-rwx *; chmod go-rwx .*	# trust me, don't do
it . . . . .

The most uncooperative network card in the world . . .
what else but a 3c509 ? I tried the whole PnP thing (both disabling
PnP and isapnptools)
it still refuses to even mutter. I'm considering putting in the
dodgy Ne1000 instead . . .

Where RedHat actually put the postgresql stuff (PGLIB,PGDATA)
instead of where the docs say it is (I had a big rant here but I
figured it'd do nobody
any good). Again, if anybody is having trouble getting postgres to
run on redhat,
because of the way it's fragmented, . . . send me a mail.

A 56k internal Modem that's not a winmodem
it's been kind of topical on and off . . . . . the USR 56k ISA Modem
is . . .well . . .
what it says really, and it works under linux. It doesn't seem to
have a 'name' to identify
it from all the ones that don't work in linux but it comes in a nice
bright red box. And it plays
	beautifully with ISA PnP.
