Folks,
Anyone here ever put Red Hat on a Dell Inspiron 7000 before?
It installed fine, but there are some issues with X. No matter what
type of card it select in Xconfigurator, and what screen setups I use, I
get nothing. Not even a fuzzy mess, the screen just dies. Dell's site
reports that the card is an ATI Rage Mobility (8mb), and that both it
and the screen can to 1280x1024 @ 60Hz.
The other ting is the sound. I haven't tried setting it up yet. Has
anyone else tried it? Or even know what I should be telling the
computer it is?
