I have seen the other replies to this, and they're good,
but I'll add my own suggestion, anyway ;)
In /usr/src/linux, there is a file called System.map - copy
this to /boot after removing the old directory and making+
installing modules. This is a Good Thing anyway, as I've
found out after trying to tame an out-of-the-box RH/MDK.
