Hi Kevin,
check out glade -(www.glade.org AFAIR) its an interface builder for GTK which will
let you set up widgets like VC++ and then dump the source code. Theres a full html
tutorial at www.gtk.org for GTK thats quite good - also availabe as a tgz.
