I saw the report on BBC teletext this morning. The problem is that it
does not really give any facts other than mentioning Visa. At the moment
I am not sure of the sources for the story - it looks like one of those
Mi2g shithead stories - unnamed persons did unnamed things at an unnamed
time etc.
I think the inspiration for the story is the CDUniverse crack where a
Russian cracker wanted $100K to fill in the gaps and stay quiet.
Apparently a large number of credit card details were snarfed and a site
was put up with some of these details after CDUniverse allegedly refused
to give into the blackmail threat.
In other news: University of Limerick's website and Telenor's websites
have been cracked overnight. News as usual on http://www.hackwatch.com/
