Kevin,
I'm just a guy, talkin to a few people on irc. I thought it might be of
interest, seeking as it is a hack(security breached and data changed), and
one is a university, the other two large companies, that probably run linux,
FreeBSD whatever. As well as that Microsoft is a large Irish employer(as
well as being mine), And all have a lot to do with Ireland! seeing as we
are supposed(politically) to be trying to lead the way even though we are
geographically on the arse of Europe.
As my little cousin Padraig would say, "your a silly man"
Just saying.

gee... an email entitled 'Hacker THreat' discussing some rumor about a
***CRACKER*** threatening three companies (that to the best of my
knowledge have little to do with ireland or linux) is sent to the IRISH
LINUX USERS GROUP.
there's on-topic, off-topic, and then there's anti-topic...
grumble.
ok, so gnome-pilot. it's nice. but how do you get it to *let go*? i
have but one serial port, and i don't want it locked into the pilot. i
tried to get the gnokii s/w running yesterday and gnome's hold on the
port seemed to annoy it.
btw, for a real hacker threat i suggest visiting copyleft and buying the
decss t-shirt. four dollars gets sent to the eff to help protect the
decss hackers and distributors from the threat of legal action.
