'bluffers guide to autoconf' is something I can help with! Well I managed to get flash to configure and make using it. Getting it to work out where programs are and set #defines in config.h is pretty straighforward, and enough to bluff your way with. There is a good tutorial at http://www.netsoc.ucd.ie/~albertw/autoconf_toc.html. Ill try and write up a 'this is what you really need to know about autoconf' page if I get time.
