Has anybody managed to get some c++ code using the pam functions in
<security/pam_appl.h> to link with libpam ?
some of the things I've tried . . . .
using -lpam
using -lpam -lpam_misc
"extern"ing the pam functions in my own code (this is already done in
<security/pam_appl.h>)
"extern"ing the pam functions as "C" (collides with those in
<security/pam_appl.h>)
regardless of what I try it can't find the functions at link time . . .
There's no problem linking them to a c program, but linking to a c++ program
is causing quite a bit of difficulty.
I know I'm missing something really obvious but I can't see (remember ?)
what it is.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
John.
