[ILUG] pop problems

[ILUG] pop problems

Johno Sullivan johno at tornado.ie

Hi all,
I've a wee bit of hassle with a pop server here.
Its a redhat 5.1 machine with kernel 2.0.38 running ipop3d v7.59.
Some of our customers are using mdaemon to collect their mail and their
connection just dies off whenever they try to collect mail with a large
attachment connected to it. The session stays open at this side for a
while which prevents them from reconnecting again until I kill it off. I
suspect mdaemon is the problem here because its a common factor in all
these problems. If anyone has solved a similar problem I'd like to hear
about it.

cheers,
johno
