SuSEs configuration tool 'yast' (yet another setup tool) should handle this for you.
Go to System Administration -> Integrate hardware into system -> configure printers
Printer type [Other printer ]
Printer name [stcolor ]
and specify the paper, resolution,port etc.
This should set it up for you.
If you're feeling a little more adventurous you can get a newer version of ghostscript (if 6.3 dosent have the latest) and the latest version of apsprint.
apsprint will have a uniprint driver instead of the stcolor one I mentioned above.
