[ILUG] [OT] PCMCIA NIC/modem

[ILUG] [OT] PCMCIA NIC/modem

Hello,

This is way off topic, sorry, but I'm likely to kill
some of my users if I don't find a solution to this
little problem...

A lot of employees here use laptops as they travel a
fair bit. They all have PCMCIA network cards/modems.
Now, I don't know if it's due to misfortune or sheer
stupidity (though I have my suspicions), but they keep
breaking thier cables or sometimes the connectors on the
actual cards. If I have to replace one more cable or
card because somebody decided to turn their laptop onto
its side forgetting that that was where the network
cable was plugged in, I am very likely to hit someone.
Knowing my luck it'll be my boss...

Does anyone know of a sturdy pcmcia ethernet/modem card
that doesn't break easily even when manhandled by users
with dubious intellectual powers?

Sorry again for the OT nature of this question.
Kathryn.
