According to the FreeB license, SGI will still own the code and
all mods to it. The license states that one can redistribute,
modify, whatever under copyrights Licensable by SGI.
Mesa is GPL'd.
Thats my reading of it anyways. Whats RMS to say I wonder ?
Mesa is still a very good software implementation. Its great for those
who want to see how things like rendering on the fly is done in software...
