it seems to me that rungetty when specified with a program to start
instead of login will not start a real shell with all the correct
environment variables, while this may work correctly for tail and
trafshow, BitchX needs the TERM variable set, and i'm sure all those other
variables have a use, also i want to be able to exit the program and use
the normal shell when i need to, i only want it to auto-login and start
the program once apon boot
