On a similar kind of a vein . . .

is there any way of getting any one terminal to run a getty on a
remote machine ? a kind of a constantly open telnet to that machine at the
login prompt.

e.g. I have Holly and Bishop. On Holly, ttys1-10 have the local getty :

		Welcome to Linux 2.2.10

		Holly login:

But on ttys 11 & 12 I want a direct persistent login to Bishop

		Welcome to Linux 2.0.38

		Bishop login:

Kind of the way I can run "X :1 -query Bishop" on Holly and so have a
permanent easy to get to X login for Bishop, but I want to do it in text
mode. Its a complete arse to have to login to holly and then telnet to
bishop. I'd imagine it would require some changes to telnetd on Bishop (say
not to disconnect if the line not used within 90 seconds etc.) Anybody know
if it's been done or has anybody done it ?
