[ILUG] [OT] Spreadsheet apps

Can anyone recommend a decent spreadsheet app that works ok.
Gnumeric crashes too much and siag is a load of crap that 
dumped a 100MB file into my /proc directory while trying to 
plot a simple 2D graph. StarOffice is too memory and disk space 
intensive for my system.
All I need is a simple spreadsheet to copy and paste cells and 
put the odd simple formula into. Was there something called xspread?
Any ideas?
