[ILUG] /usr partition full??

for portability make the second tar be:

(cd /mnt ; tar xsfp -)

for use with proprietary unix tar's that don't automatically strip the
leading / like GNU tar does. Forgetting the -s on "Unix(TM)" can be... eh..
fun. :)
