Just out of curiosity,
I dont know how many on the list read slashdot. well I'm guessing pretty
much everone, but I'm just wondering what ye think of this artcle that was
posted. http://www.sans.org/topten.htm
Granted there are arguments and always will be for and against linux
(personally I'm pro linux) but I was surprised on how frequently Linux and
to be fair *nix's in general cropped up in the list. Now, granted, If it is
among the most popular platform for web servers in general, then it is bound
to achieve more hacker attention than most, but the fact Windoze faired a
bit (not much though!) better makes me wonder a bit.
Please don't include licensing (open source stuff) when replying.
Its good because it's free and updates may be quicker but does that make it
better?
Thoughts??
Cheers
Robert.
