badblocks has not produced any output :-/
In the meantime, a runaway process (or so I guess) has filled up
the partition completely, and the dumps are still lingering around,
although aborted. Guess I'll have to have a serious look when I get
back to the office tomorrow. Argh, I mean, later today :-\
