Yet another good part of Debian (their init scripts save and load from
the system hardware clock when they boot), which saves me on the Alpha,
coz hwclock has problems working out what the date is.. and when I
set the date to 2000, and it boots in 2048, I get annoyed at waiting for
13 gb to fsck.. :(
