[ILUG] Business Card CDs

Niall,

When talking, ask what capacity we can burn with an ordinary CDRW drive.
The BBC image is 45Mb. Ask also about how durable the coating is (no good
if the coating wears off on your wallet!!) .

It's not a good price - at current rates, £3.95 is a hair over $6. I just
had a quick look on Pricewatch and I came up with a number of vendors in the
states at prices from < $0.90 a piece. Granted that was for 1000 :-) but I
saw single unit prices from $1. For those I'll call a couple of the better
priced ones later on (wait for the Californicators to wake up) and get a
quote for say 100 (I don't think that'll be overboard, and it's only a guide
price anyway) to include shipping etc. I have recently mailed the guy in
Linuxcare again about the BBCs, mentioning the imminence of the AGM but I've
heard nothing further so I think we can assume that we're not getting a
visit from the BBC fairy :-(

Regards,

Niall
