[ILUG] PS/2 mouse weirdness

[ILUG] PS/2 mouse weirdness

Fergal Daly fergal at esatclear.ie

I just got most of a new PC and after putting it together the only problem
I'm having is with the mouse. Basically every now and again it decides it's
going to leg it up and right (usually right to the corner) and also send a
load of clicks too. This has only resulted in launching progs at random so
far but I'll be really miffed when it deletes a file on me.

I've tested 2 different PS/2 mice (1 2-button, 1 3-button) same result and
it doesn't happen with a 3-button serial mouse. It's an Abit KA7
motherboard if that makes any difference.

Happens under X and under gpm on the console.
