Hi there,
I got the DVD version of SuSE 6.4 this weekend, 9
Gigabytes for a full install. But a funny thing is
happening. It installs fine ~ ~ish and on reboots
works fine, firstly it only noticed 64 MB so I
used klilo to append="mem=128MB", but this causes
a kernel panic.
It seems SuSE like mem=128M in the Global section
of the lilo.conf, but my question is to do with
the addition of my zip drive in the fstab. I have
the following line in the fstab.
/dev/sda4 /mnt/zip vfat noauto,user 0 0
This causes another kernel panic and I am told
"Can not mount root fs 30:3b"
So now to mount my zip drive I have to type mount
-t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip every time.
Is there anything I can do to stop this..
Thanks.
Jason.
