There are fewer smokers than non-smokers in society in general, and one
would assume that the membership of ILUG mirrors that. Anyway, even if
smokers were in the majority, they still should not impose their poisonous
waste products on the minority, who after all do have a right to clean air
to breath. You may answer that smokers have a right to smoke, of course, but
that's debatable when one considers the cost to society of smoking.
This is definitely going way off topic - smoking isn't allowed at the AGM
because it's not allowed in any building in Trinity (I suppose there are odd
exceptions in bars etc.) so let that be an end of it.
