AGM attendees from Cork; Re: [ILUG] Backing up a CD

Look for cdrdao (disc at once) - it will read CDs to images and write
images to CDs. Does cool stuff like preserving lead-in times on audio
tracks and works well for me.

I've been having a minor problem with reading audio CDs using this or
cdparanoia though, after a few CDs I have to reboot my machine before it
will rip any more audio CDs... really annoying to have to reboot after
only a few weeks... :( Once the problem occurs, I can't read audio CDs
in either drive (ATAPI devices hdc and hdd under SCSI emulation)... I
mailed the list about this a few weeks ago, but got no response. Anybody
have any ideas on this one?

See you all at the AGM, hopefully. Anybody driving up from Cork?
