I don't think it is. A lot of people make noise about making it a default,
but no out-of-the-box operating system that I'm aware of ships with it as
default.

Fortunately, the first linux box I used (0.96.something) was big enough to
have a large 8Mb of memory - later expanded to a whopping 16Mb.
