[ILUG] strange timeouts...

Hey,
just seem to be having these peculiar problems with my linux machine in
work ( and same with anothers machine as well ). Basically we are on a
primarily NT network, my machine is running rh6.1, the other slackware
4.. i think.
Aynway, the problem. Basically several times throughout the day, the
machines seem to lose all connections with the network. As in, you can't
ping it, you can't ping from it. I realy don't have a cluw what the
problem is unless it is some problem with the routers.. ?

so.. How can i monitor things ? should i use ipchains to keep an eye on
things, basically i want to get a log shaowing what;s happening and at
what times, so as we can try to figure this out.

Thanks
Gav
