[ILUG] free books at the AGM

[ILUG] free books at the AGM

John P. Looney (Kate) jplooney-ilug at online.ie
Wed Jun 14 12:37:36 IST 2000

Those nice people at O'Reilly have sent me on some books to give away
too (whether quiz, raffle or whatever..):

Evil Geniuses in a nutshell (from Illiad)
Learning Debian GNU/Linux + CD (Mc Carthy)
Learning Red Hat Linux + CD (Mc Carthy)
    Cathedral & the Bazaar (Raymond)
    Linux in a nutshell (Siever)
    Running Linux (Welsh)

You have no idea how hard it was to admin that they sent me these for
ILUG, and not just stick them in my bag & say nothing. There are four
O'Reilly tshirts too, BTW. Thanks for David Malone for talking to some
O'Reilly people, and mentioning ILUG to them.

BTW, they said that if there is a "commercial" ILUG event later on, they
are interested in setting up a stall, and showing off loadsa books.

Kate
