lo all,
i've recently got a new pc and i'm having total trouble with the sound in linux. its a pci card, that comes with gateway pc's, running mandrake 7.0.
the installation detects it np but no sound comes out.
i've tried sndconfig to no avail.
any ideas?

ps i also tried to set it up as a sb16, as listen in the windoz properties, again no luck
