For particular instance one of the qnx guys sometimes compains that configure
related stuff doesn't always work cleanly on qnx. Sticking one of their
machines
up like compaq would help sort that out. Despite the impossibility of hitting
every system it still seems very likely that if sorting out compatibility among
most of the living oses would get you lots of legacy support for free into the
bargain.
Though for qnx Im patiently waiting for "later this summer" to arrive for their
free hosted qnx development environment. http://get.qnx.com/ . Ive always loved
their demo disk http://www.qnx.com/demodisk/ . One of my workmates here is
involved in the muLinux thingy and it amuses me to taunt him with comparisons.
