[ILUG] modprobe -- newbie problem.

[ILUG] modprobe -- newbie problem.

Hi folks,
I am having some trouble with my aic7xxx module on a RedHat 6.0 box.
The module is loading but I need to pass it a "no_probe" statement.
However when i do "modprobe aic7xxx aic7xxx=no_probe "
nothing is returned ! -- Is this correct ?

I'm not sure if this is the correct parametername=parametervalue
and I don't have access to the module readme.
If anyone could help or point me to a weblocation for the doc , I would
really appreciate it.

Thanks
Martin P
